Recently the black screen after logging into Windows has become a more prevalent issue across multiple user agencies. During this time the arrow can be seen in the foreground and it can last anywhere from about 30 seconds to several minutes, after which Windows functions normally. We have been troubleshooting, but unfortunately research indicates it is a known Windows issue. Microsoft will occasionally release patches to address it, but the timing is inconsistent and unpredictable. We will be working to roll out additional patches and updates in the coming months and we hope these will resolve or reduce the black screen delay. We will also continue to troubleshoot and research in the hope that a solution will be found, however, in the meantime we appreciate your patience as we continue to search for a resolution.
