NOTICE:

SEEKING “FOR” AND “AGAINST’ COMMITTEES FOR PROPOSITION 2 – KITSAP 911 EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS AND FACILITIES SALES AND USE TAX

On May 4th, 2021 the Kitsap 911 Board requested the Kitsap County Commissioners put Resolution 2021-002 on the ballot. On June 28th, 2021 the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners following the above resolution put Proposition 2 – Kitsap 911 Emergency Communication Systems and Facilities Sales and Use Tax on the November 2nd, 2021 Primary Election Ballot.

In accordance with RCW.29A.32.280, Kitsap 911 is seeking individuals interested in serving on the committees “For” and “Against” the ballot measure, to submit a statement that will appear in the local voters’ pamphlet. The committee is limited to three members each.
Those who would like to submit their names for consideration should contact Kitsap 911 by 4:00 PM on August 5th, 2021.
