KITSAP 911 is committed to providing eligible employees with a comprehensive benefits package designed to afford employees and their family members with financial security and peace of mind. All employees in regular positions budgeted at .50 FTE and above are eligible for KITSAP 911 benefits. Medical, vision, dental, and life insurance coverage for eligible employees and designated legal dependents begins the first day of employment/eligibility.

Time Off

Retirement

Kitsap 911 offers Retirement plans through Washington State. Public Safety Employees' Retirement System (PSERS) to all eligible operations employees and Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) to all eligible employees. PERS offers two retirement plans for new employees: PERS Plan 2 and PERS Plan 3. Refer to plans on the Department of Retirement Systems website for additional information.
